NJ unemployment waiting for Monetary Interview...Will i receive benefits in the mean time?

i am waiting for a Monetary Interview since i just opened a claim in NJ...this is not the claims examiner interview...i know with the claims examiner interview that you wont receive a check until you have been approved...will i receive checks while i am waiting for the monetary interview? thanks
