How can I get my bird to quit laying soft shelled eggs?

A few of our ducks never lay hard eggs, they are always soft. Is calcuim deficency the only thing it would be or could there be something else wrong? We have tryed using oyster shell because thats suppose to help but it hasn't yet. Does anyone have any other ideas?
