Can u get pregnant if u have unprotected the last day of your period or the day after your period ends?

Some background info 1st. I miscarried my first pregnancy on 11/08/10. I got my 1st period after the MC on 12/13/10 & my 2nd period on 01/13/11. However, for my 3rd period instead of having a 31-day cycle & having my period on 02/13/11, I had a 38-day cycle & got my period on 02/20/11. My period for march was also a 38-day cycle & I got on 03/30/11, which lasted for 4-5 day. On sunday April 3rd, we had unprotected (we are trying to conceive). I was wondering if it is possible to get pregnant the day your period ends or the day after. I have heard many different stories. Some ppl have said yes you can get pregnant anytime, while others said no you don't ovulate till mid cycle. The 1st day of my next period would be May 7th, which means I should ovulate this weekend. My husband, however, thinks I may already be pregnant cause I got a cold/bronchitis 2 wks after unprotected & that's what happened last time & I'm eating turkey which is all I could eat last time. We are still gonna try all this wk. We had unprotected last night & probably just gonna continue with every other night. However, if anyone could tell me if it is possible to get pregnant if you have unprotected on the last day or the day after the last day of your period, I'd appreciate it. By the way, like I said my last period was March 30th & we had unprotected on April 3rd. I also started having some light spotting on wed April 6th- thursday April 7th, very light. Thanks
