I have like cold sores or extremely dried lips. Can someone clarify what they are?

Got my Swine Flu shot on Monday, November 2nd. On Tuesday, I had a really scratchy, dry feeling throat. On wednsday, I woke up and the corners of my lips really hurt. I looked in the mirror and they looked blistered and red. I still have them 3 days later. What are they? I have been drinking lots of water and lip balming them up.
