Guy intimacy question?

Yeah is a beautiful way of connecting with each other especially after being friends it's definitely where people develop stronger feelings for each other than before and i do think he has feelings for you too. Maybe give it a while and then broach the subject of i have developed deeper feelings i want to be in a proper relationship type thing. I don't think you can go wrong but i don't think you two will just end up as **** buddies. It either always gets messy with jealousy or you end up in a relationship.
